What are they???

Are just pretty objects
or
do they have some kind of real use for us?

The answer might surprise you!!!

While the term "Crystal" actually takes into account many different kinds, an as time goes on I may explore them, but for now, I'll be focusing on my exploration and knowledge of Clear Quartz Crystal which has always been my personal #1 favorite.

Clear Quartz Crystal

Molecules of silicon dioxide (SiO2) in a highly structured geometric pattern.  Silicon dioxide (a.k.a Clear Quartz Crystal) is colorless and transparent and has a melting point of 1710 degrees and a boiling point of 2230 degrees.  Clear Quartz Crystals always have 6 sides with a bend that forms a point.

Storing Crystals

To store your crystals, place them in open containers that are in the sunlight.  Use them often.  They like that!

Protecting Crystals

To protect your crystals, wrap them in natural fabric (like silk or cotton).  Also remember to make sure the point is covered.

Signs that your Crystals need to be cleaned:

Do you think that your Crystals have picked up some negative energy?  A sign of this might be: a cracked crystal, a cloudy interior and, if it sticks to your touch.  Always clean it after healing work.

Cleaning Crystals

Method 1:

Place the crystal in saltwater overnight.  Keep the crystal there even longer if you can.  It’s best to use sea salt and spring water.  Use a solution of approximately 1 or 2 teaspoons of sea salt to 1 to 2 cups of spring water.

Method 2:

Place your crystal in the rain!

Method 3:

Bury the crystal in sea salt for 7 days.  During the course of the 7 days, throw away some of the sea salt as it will absorb the negative energy that the crystal had.
