Have you ever stopped to think about the fact that there are 26 letters in the English Language as well as 52 weeks in a Year?
Well, there are also 52 Cards in a Deck
Is it a Coincidence?
Of course not!
Most people don't realize but the regular playing Deck of Cards is our Calendar.
The Tarot, which is very similar and an offshoot of the regular deck of playing cards came thousands of years after the regular playing deck.
As a Numerologist AND Astrologer I was awestruck when I came upon the discipline known as The Cards of Destiny.
I have studied it ever since.
It wasn't until yesterday (6/7/2001) that I realized that the system (which is VERY VERY accurate btw) could be used with Words and Names.
As was true with the way the rest of system is applied, it is VERY accurate.
Why don't you give it a try and see what you decipher about yourself, your spouse, your Business Name...etc etc etc.
The possible uses for this are endless!

O.k.! Are you ready to begin? I hope so! I'm soooo ready to share! :-)
All it takes is some simple addition!
Here are some things you might want to remember as you work some things out:
#1....The "Capital" or "Upper Case" version of a letter has a different number/vibration/card.
#2...H=Hearts, C=Clubs, D=Diamonds, S=Spades
#3...Any total over 52 is reduced by 52 until it's equal or under. (Don't worry, I'll give you a few examples!)
O.k.! That should get us off and running.
The chart below holds the values for all of the letters.
If the letter is upper case than look at the bottom chart.
If the letter is lower case, than look at the top chart.

On to examples! :-)
I'll start with myself!
(I'm using my maiden name...the one that appears on my Birth Certificate anyway. And yes, there's a story there! LOL)

Donna Lynn Brogna
30+15+14+14+1 (Donna) = 74
74-52=22
38+25+14+14 (Lynn) = 91
91-52=39
28+18+15+7+14+1 (Brogna) = 83
83-52=31

O.k.! Now I have the numbers for my maiden name.
When adding up, you can always catch a mistake because all capital letters will have values from
26 and under and all capital letters will have values of 27 and above.
I listed my names separately so that I could illustrate the different cards that are hidden within my overall name.

If you look at the chart #22, which is the numerical equivalent of my first name, is equivalent to a 9 of Clubs.
(My Dad was a 9 of Clubs!)
If you look at the chart, #13, which is the numerical equivalent of my middle name, the equivalent is the King of Hearts.
If you look at the chart, #31, which is the numerical equivalent of my last name, the equivalent card is the 5 of Diamonds.

Now lets put it all together and come up with my overall number.
To do that, I'm going to go back to the original totals for each so that nothing is lost in between.
Donna + Lynn + Brogna = 74+91+83=248
248-52=196-52=144-52=92-52=40
So, my overall number is "40"
Let's look at the chart and see what card that's equivalent to.
Ah ha! It's the Ace of Spades!!!!!
The Ace of Spades just happens to be THE icon for The Order of the Magi, that handed down The Cards of Destiny.
Is it a coincidence that I cracked the code for this and that my name equates to the Order's icon?
I don't think so!

BTW....This is the workout for the card for MoonLady:
39+15+15+14+38+1+4+25=151
151-52=99-52=47
The total is "47"
Looking at the Chart we see that the Name "MoonLady" is an 8 of Spades
I can live with that! :-)
